Vote Online

Cast your ballot securely through the OneFeather online voting platform between August 8 at 8:00 am PT and August 22 at 8:00 pm PT.

All registered Métis Nation British Columbia Citizens who appear on the electors list are eligible to vote online. Take a moment to ensure your contact information is up to date by logging into the Métis Hub or emailing MNBC’s Ministry of Citizenship.

Online voting will be open from between August 8 at 8:00 am PT and August 22 at 8:00 pm PT. When voting is open, eligible voters will receive a single-use voter PIN via email needed to access and cast their ballot online.

First time digital voters will need to create a OneFeather account using their personal email address. You can create your account as of July 10. If you have previously used OneFeather, sign in using your email address and password. Citizens will be asked to select their community (this is Métis Nation British Columbia, NOT your local Chartered Community) and enter their Citizenship card number. When voting is open, eligible voters will receive a single-use voter PIN via email needed to access and cast their ballot online.

Vote By Mail

All eligible Citizens on the master electors list will receive a mail-in ballot package to their home address.

Mail in ballots will be mailed no later than August 7, 2026 to eligible voters, for whom a current mailing address is known. It may take several days for these voting packages to reach voters – however, if you have not received yours, please contact the Chief Electoral Officer at support@onefeather.ca or 1-855-923-3006 by August 14, 2026.

Contact MNBC’s Ministry of Citizenship immediately to confirm your new mailing address. Citizenship will advise the Chief Electoral Officer.

Mail-in ballots must be received by the Chief Electoral Officer no later than 8:00 pm PT on August 22, 2026. Mail-in ballots received after this date and time will not be counted or recorded. Note that the post date is irrelevant (eg. you cannot post your ballot on August 21. It will not reach the Chief Electoral Officer in time and therefore, will not be counted).
